The creative bread laboratory “Ramala” (https://www.ramala.lv) is a unique, cozy social enterprise bakery in the city of Ventspils, Latvia. It started in cooperation with the Bread Houses Network, which trained the Ramala founding team in the Bread Therapy methods (www.breadtherapy.net) and, thus, this specialty bakery also offers community events and paid services. “Ramala” is special with the fact that it is a social company, which means that all earned profit is dedicated to a social purpose – for rehabilitation of persons suffering from abuse and people with special needs, some of whom work at Ramala. Ramala also organizes entertaining classes for families, groups of friends or colleagues, as master classes to bake and prepare all kinds of delicacies together: pizzas, burgers, doughnuts, pop cakes, etc.
